I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association for Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology.

Change is one of the hardest things we can do as human beings. I am here to walk the road of change with you, whatever that may mean.

As a counsellor, I believe everyone deserves to feel supported throughout life as challenges arise. As human beings, we may create stories about ourselves that once served us, but now are holding us back. Through building a strong relationship, we can work together to uncover a brighter and clearer path forward. You are the expert in your life and I am honoured to go on this journey with you.

I work from a trauma informed client-centred approach with influences from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Attachment Therapy. Further, I strive to add a feminist, and anti-racist lens to all my work. My personal and professional experiences have led me to see the uniqueness in every individual- as such, our work together will be tailored to you and your needs. When working with couples, I love to celebrate the beauty and resiliency of human connection. By fostering safety, we will work to disrupt hurtful or isolating patterns and create new ones that centre your bond as a couple. When we feel seen by our partners, we can get through anything. together

In addition, I have occupied a variety of people-oriented roles throughout the years including providing peer support to individuals with eating disorders through the Looking Glass foundation, volunteering with children in a classroom setting, and working with couples in a relationships research lab.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom”
